7 vrk GFS-väderprognoskartor
The maps are based on NOAA:n GFS-forecastmodels, they are calculated models so realized weather can can depart significantly from the forecasted.
On our weatherstation's viartual server are the maps generated once NOAA's superduper-computers has get the models runned and released.
All times on maps are Zulu-times, thats same as GMT/UTC-time. In Finland during summertime you must add three hours to that and during normal time you must add two hours. The maps are updated 4 times a day at 02.20, 08.20, 14.20 ja 20.20 local time.
