Join Nordic Weather Network
Nordic Weathernetwork (NWN) is currently looking for new members to contribute their data to the network.
Our goal is to have a comprehensive view of weather conditions acrossthe Nordic Countries.
If you are a personal weather station owner/operator, please let us know so we add you to join the growing community of 32 networks and 1000+ private weatherstations!
Danish stations are also shown on Livevejr.dk, Swedish stations on Svensktväder.se and Finnish stations on Ukkostutkat.fi.
NEW! You can now join even if you don't have weatherstation and report conditions manually and add the weatherstion later if you want!. You can also update the condiotions from a mobile site.

Supported softwares

- Weather Display
If you are doing real-time update using clientraw.txt (such as for Weather-Display Live), no additional configuration is required. Your clientraw.txt should be uploaded every 5 minutes or less
- Cumulus If you are doing real-time update using realtime.txt, no additional configuration is required. Your realtime.txt should be uploaded every 5 minutes or less
- Virtual Weather Station If you are updating details.htm, no additional configuration is required. Your details.htm should be uploaded every 5 minutes or less
- WUHU If you are updating currdat.lst, no additional configuration is required. Your currdat.lst should be uploaded every 5 minutes or less
- WeatherLink Save this code to \program files\weatherlink\[stationname]\templates as WL_stickertags.htx.
Open S)etup, Internet Settings dialog. For the configuration you're using to FTP Weatherlink html file(s), press the Configure button.
In the Data Upload Profile, press Select Template Files, then use ADD button to select the WL_stickertags.htx file, and press Open.
The WL_stickertags.htx file should now appear in the Weather Template Files for Data Upload dialog. Press OK., and press OK on the Data Upload Profile, then OK on the Internet Settings dialog. The WL_stickertags.htx file will be uploaded at your next update cycle with a filetype as specified in the Data Upload Profile.
- Open2300 Open S)etup, Internet Settings dialog. For the configuration you're using to FTP Weatherlink html file(s), press the Configure button.
In the Data Upload Profile, press Select Template Files, then use ADD button to select the WL_stickertags.htx file, and press Open.
The WL_stickertags.htx file should now appear in the Weather Template Files for Data Upload dialog. Press OK., and press OK on the Data Upload Profile, then OK on the Internet Settings dialog. The WL_stickertags.htx file will be uploaded at your next update cycle with a filetype as specified in the Data Upload Profile.
Please set the upload for the data page to every 5 minutes. The following code is one long line, copy it and paste it into WL_stickertags.htx (in notepad) to create your template file.

If you are updating weather.log, no additional configuration is required. Your weather.log should be uploaded every 5 minutes or less
- PYWW If you are updating pywwsdata.txt, no additional configuration is required.
- swedweather.com If you are updating swedweather.com-file, no additional configuration is required.
- Wunderground You only need to send data to Wundergorund.
If you don't have any of above, you can still join by send a plain text-file to your site.
Your software must be capable to create a comma-delimeted file what is uploaded to your site every 5 minutes. Needed datas:
Time, date, temperature, humidx, windchill, humidity, dewpoint, pressure, -trend, windspeed, wind-direction, rain today, max windspeed today, rainrate, 10 min avg wind, max windgust today, min windchill, max humidx, rain month, rain year, max temp today, min temp today
When created it should look like this:
All datas are not needed and they can be replaced with "n/a", but the basic datas mst be there.
